It is in 1999 that the original idea emerges in a private residence of Charlesbourg.  In fact, the inventor wished to find an effective solution to facilitate the medication compliance of his mother-in-law and thus to improve her life quality. The idea remained latent up to 2000 when a long date friend joined the project.  The first drawings and designs took shape and the idea got clear.

The year 2000 marks a pause of three consecutive years, it is only in 2003 that work resumed around the basic concept, and then a first prototype was born. In 2004, another acquaintance of the inventor who was interested in the project joined the group; the search for partners is launched. A restart of the drafting with new specifications takes place, leading to the second prototype, made with the help of an electronic products manufacture specialist from Québec.

It is in 2005 that the corporation, named the DOmedic Group, is founded by a group of various partners.  It is also that year that marks the beginning of the experimental development of the product. After the first phase of the development, in 2008, a patent request is sent.  After the office studied the project, the patent was delivered in 2010.

Since the creation of the group, several partners joined the cause, which allowed a spectacular evolution of the concept. Consequently, numerous pilot projects have been launched to ensure the production of a superior product in an advanced concept and cutting edge.  The product is now in the phase of marketing and business agreements have been signed with major partners. Further discussions are underway nationally and internationally. The deployment of the product has begun and the results are promising.
